CE3 Work Rules
Unanticipated sick days should be reported to the immediate supervisor via phone call and/or text. The Admin person (as coordinator of reception intake) should also be notified by phone as well.
Planned medical appointments should be communicated to immediate supervisor via email (ideally 2 weeks prior or with as much notice as possible).
If unforeseen circumstances result in a person being late for the work day or meeting, the staff person should contact the immediate supervisor via phone call and/or text. The Admin person (as coordinator of reception intake) should also be notified by phone as well.
Vacation Leave Approval
Requests for vacation leave must be submitted to immediate supervisors via email at least 2 weeks prior to requested time off. Immediate supervisors will forward approved vacation times to Admin person who will update CE3 master calendar of availability.
The expected work schedule for professional staff is Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm (with a one hour lunch and 2 fifteen minute breaks). Currently, staff are allowed “prep” time that accounts for one hour of email and other business correspondence that may occur away from the office. As such, the expectation is that professional staff begin the work day in the office at 9am.
Exceptions to Standard Work Day, Work From Home, and “Flex Time”
Any exceptions to the standard work day, requests to work from home, and requests for a “flex schedule” or to “telecommute” must be submitted via email to the immediate supervisor with enough time for approvals to occur 2 weeks prior to start of requested exception.
