Staff members can request key-card access to campus buildings where their offices are located for after-hours access to main entrances. Select student employees may also be granted access as requested by their supervisor.

Building Access Policy
As of April 2021, UCPD no longer manages mechanical or electronic access control for the UC Berkeley campus. Please direct all new service requests and inquiries to Facilities Services:

To report a lost or stolen University key or credential (card key) or to request other routine police services on the UC Berkeley campus, please contact UCPD at (510) 642-6760 (or 510-642-3333 for TTY users) at any time of day or night.
